James has worked in the Fire and Emergency Services industry for 40 years, 35 of which have been in leadership roles. His community leadership involvement spans 2 decades. During this time, he served on numerous boards and commissions, including 12 years as a city council member and 6 years as a member of municipal planning commission. He holds a Health Care Administration degree and is currently working towards a master’s in Management and Leadership.
