Wendy is a CRR practitioner who has been involved in her department's risk reduction story since 2011. She believes in the CRR process and has successfully elevated the CRR mindset upwards into the municipal level, as her city has has adopted CRR language into their strategic plan!

She is a lifelong learner who is currently prepping for the Project Manager Professional's exam and working towards a Masters Degree in Occupational Safety and Health - Environmental Management. She is a full-time employee of the Wiilmington, NC Fire Department, and while not at the WFD, she owns and manages an LLC affectionaltly named "Culture Shift". Culture Shift is a platform from which Wendy can evangelize CRR through teaching and consulting. She will definitely travel to talk about the practicalities of incorporating risk reduction into the daily life at your department, just ask!
