Alex Bregenzer is a dedicated professional currently serving as Community Risk Reduction Director for Spring Fire Department. In this role, Alex leads initiatives aimed at minimizing community risks through comprehensive planning, education, and proactive measures. Prior to joining Spring Fire Department, he served as the Community Wildfire Protection Plans Program Coordinator for Texas A&M Forest Service, a compliance and risk management specialist in Extended Orientation for Texas A&M University’s Department of Student Activities, and worked as a paramedic in North Texas. Additional, Alex serves as an instructor for Community Wildfire Mitigation Best Practices, sharing his knowledge and expertise to help communities better prepare for and respond to wildfire threats. He received his Bachelors in Ecological Restoration & Renewable Natural Resources from Texas A&M University and his Masters of Fire Ecology and Management from the University of Idaho.
