Jennifer Hill started with the Phoenix Fire Department in 2019 as the department’s first Criminal Intelligence Analyst assigned to the Phoenix Fire Investigations Task Force. She has over 14-years’ experience in intelligence analysis in the law enforcement field and has joined the Phoenix Fire Department to support the department’s mission to be a data informed agency. As the Community Risk Reduction Manager, she has created several data collection models to support various projects both within the fire department and throughout the City. Most recently she developed a data collection form being used throughout the state, to capture lithium-ion battery fire data. This not only capture’s the state’s current trends but allows her to summarize the data contributed by various fire departments and share it, helping guide code enforcement, operational procedures, and public safety.
Previously, Jennifer worked for the Phoenix Police Department assigned to the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) supporting criminal intelligence analysis needs for money laundering and drug trafficking cases; she was also involved in the development of two statewide databases, the Arizona Missing and Exploited Children Clearinghouse and the Arizona Critical Infrastructure Database while employed by the Arizona Department of Public Safety, assigned to the Arizona Counter Terrorism Center.
Jennifer has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice and a Master of Arts degree in Forensic Psychology.
