Kelly Hanink is an Assistant Fire Chief for the Grand Chute (WI) Fire Department with responsibility for Community Risk Reduction. She is the department's Fire Marshal, Health and Safety Officer, and current Accreditation Manager. AC Hanink is a graduate of the National Fire Academy's Executive Fire Officer Program and holds the Chief Fire Officer designation from the Center for Public Safety Excellence. Her fire service spans 18 years in both combination and career departments in a variety of roles from Firefighter to Fire Chief.
AC Hanink's professional career began 30+ years ago as a design engineer in the defense industry designing weapons systems also progressing through project management and engineering management. During the career, AC Hanink also became certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute. She holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering as well as an Associates Degree in Fire Protection.
