Steve Johnson is a firefighter, registered nurse (RN), and community paramedic (CP-C) with experience in fire, rescue, EMS, critical care transport (air and ground), hospital administration, and education. He is a leader, administrator, educator, and mentor with over 30 plus years in healthcare, emergency services, and pre-hospital care. He has held roles in health system management, business development, marketing, community relations, government affairs, quality management, and preeminence mapping. Currently he serves as an Associate Instructor/Faculty in the Emergency Medical Care program at Western Carolina University and is completing a doctoral degree at Northern Kentucky University with research focused on falls prevention in the elderly.
