Community Risk Reduction (CRR) requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and the ability to draw on the varied strengths of a diverse team. This half-day workshop, led by NFPA’s Chelsea Rubadou and Karen Berard-Reed, will empower teams to build high-performing CRR teams by leveraging a blend of work styles, perspectives, and strengths. Attendees will explore a relatable conceptual framework designed to help CRR leaders identify performance gaps, fill critical team roles, and create an environment where diverse thinking leads to innovative problem-solving. Through interactive exercises and real-world examples, participants will engage in the thinking processes essential to deploying NFPA 1300 effectively. Participants will walk away with practical tools for driving team performance and ensuring community’s risk reduction strategy utilizes a strengths-based approach. Learning Objectives:
